Allama Iqbal was a great poet, philosopher, and thinker of the Muslim world. He was born on 9 November 1877 in Sialkot, which is now in Pakistan. He is also known as the “Poet of the East” because of his powerful poetry and deep ideas.
Allama Iqbal played an important role in awakening Muslims through his poetry. He gave the message of self-respect, unity, and hard work. He inspired people to believe in themselves and to work for a better future. His poems were written in Urdu, Persian, and other languages, and they are still read and loved today.
He strongly believed that Muslims should follow education and develop their character. He encouraged them to become strong and independent. His famous idea of a separate homeland for Muslims in the subcontinent later became the basis for the creation of Pakistan.
Allama Iqbal was not only a poet but also a great leader and thinker. He wanted Muslims to rise and achieve success in every field of life. He passed away on 21 April 1938 in Lahore.
