Once you start the test, a timer will begin. Make sure you have a stable internet connection and enough time to complete the test.
This depends on the test settings determined by the administrator:
- Timed tests usually cannot be paused. The timer continues even if you navigate away from the page.
- Untimed tests may allow you to save your progress and return later.
- Some tests have a time limit per question rather than for the entire test.
Always check the test instructions before starting. If you encounter technical issues during a test, contact support immediately.
Our system supports various question types:
Multiple Choice (MCQ)
Select one correct answer from several options
True/False
Determine if a statement is true or false
Short Answer
Type a brief response to a question
Essay Questions
Write longer, detailed responses
The question types vary by test. Check the test description to see which types are included.
If you get disconnected during a test:
- Check your internet connection and try to reconnect
- Log back into your account as soon as possible
- Navigate to the test you were taking
- In many cases, the system will attempt to restore your progress
If you're unable to resume the test, contact support immediately with details about the issue. Include your candidate ID, test name, and approximate time of disconnection.
Note: For timed tests, the clock may continue running during disconnection. It's important to use a stable internet connection.
For the best experience, we recommend:
Browsers
- Google Chrome (latest version)
- Mozilla Firefox (latest version)
- Safari (version 12+)
- Microsoft Edge (latest version)
System
- Stable internet connection (min 2 Mbps)
- JavaScript enabled
- Cookies enabled
- Screen resolution: 1024x768 or higher
We recommend taking tests on a computer rather than a mobile device for the best experience, especially for longer tests with various question types.
Scoring depends on the test settings, but generally:
- Multiple-choice and true/false questions are typically scored automatically with points awarded for correct answers
- Short answer questions may be automatically scored or reviewed manually
- Essay questions are usually graded manually by instructors or evaluators
- Some tests may have negative marking for incorrect answers
The test description usually provides information about the scoring system. Your final score is often presented as a percentage or scaled score.
The time to receive results varies:
- Automatically scored tests typically provide immediate results upon completion
- Tests with essay questions may take several days for manual grading
- Official certification tests may have specific result release schedules
You'll usually receive a notification when your results are available. You can then view them in your dashboard.
This depends on the test settings:
- Some tests allow you to review your answers immediately after completion
- Other tests may not show which questions you answered incorrectly to maintain test security
- For tests with manual grading, you may need to wait until all evaluations are complete
Check the test description or contact your instructor to understand the review policy for specific tests.
